PERMIAS Bloomington

Serving as the Public Relations of the student organization, I worked collaboratively with the organization's Media & Documentations and Creative Manager team to create strategies and execute promotional campaigns for our 10 events in a year that provide solutions for our community and our country

Successful projects:

1. Bloomington 101

  • What: a networking event that introduced new students to the Bloomington Indonesian community. 

  • Result: Exceeded our attendees target by 40%

2. Guide for New Hoosiers

  • What: a 3-minute video to introduce new students to Bloomington and help them preparing on their arrival.

  • Result: 6,700+ viewers and 76 shared on Facebook within one month

3. GAPURA Indonesia Night

  • What: Our annual cultural event that showcases Indonesian culture (performances, free food, games, prizes, etc.)

  • Result: Introduced 4 Indonesian traditional dances to the audience, brough 400+ visitors through integrated marketing & communication strategies (Snapchat coverage from IU & Kelley School of Business, parade, collaborations with other international organizations) and raised $10k of sponsorship & fundraising
